Mr. J.P Narayan
Director, The Tea Cottage
In the year 1997 when I joined the tea industry, the tea industry was in full moon and there was great tea culture everywhere in the India. People and young minds actively got interested in the tea industry due to its great fame and success in comparison to other industries. The tea industry was a high peak during the last 25 years. But recently due to lack of Human Resources and potential people, the tea industry is suffering and has lost its charm. Thus, all of us needs to work on rejuvenating the tea industry by attracting talented youngsters and motivating them to become a part of the tea industry and carry on its legacy. We all have to work towards controlling quality and providing the best out in the market. We also need to create customer awareness about variety of tea products and good quality tea, so that customers buy the best products at prices that are profitable to the tea industry. I want to use my knowledge and expertise to make small yet significant contribution to the growth of tea industry as well as to build up consumer satisfaction and awareness so that the tea industry gains its lost charm once again. Lastly thank you all for their support.
